This page will feature all of my free video tips and lessons for the post processing of your digital camera files. Every week I get a few e-mails asking me how I process my images and instead of trying to write it down in an article, what better than a youtube video? I will add to this section on a regular basis so always check back!

Hi Steve,
Thanks for a great site. Are you planning to jump into the Apple Photos OS X, app, and the debate on where to go from Aperture?
John
Hi Steve,
Thanks for the helpful videos, picked up a few tips from the last couple. Keep up the good work, thanks again 🙂

Hi Steve, I think your site and it’s real life information is awesome. I use Olympus PEN gear also. I found out recently that you just can shoot only raw and use ALL of the art filters on your images using the Olympus Viewer2. This is free software that comes with you camera usually. People who are entousiastic about Olympus jpeg colours can use Olympus Viewer2 to develop 16 bit Tiff’s with the same colour and further sharpen and develop those tiff’s in Lightroom or Photoshop. I purchased a Nikon 1 v1 after reading your review here. Very pleased with my results. Initially found the raw files disappointing and I do my edits on linux (UFRaw->Gimp). Then I found Raw Therapee (cross platform editing and converting) and realized the quality in raw files! I have found your site informative and inspiring too.
Hi Steve,
I’ve been playing with Snapseed on the iPad, there’s a Mac and Windows version as well. I really like it but would like to know how it compares to ‘real’ photo editing suites. Have you used it?
Hello Steve.
Thanks for your time and priceless lessons. I’ve always had a bad time with post-processing, but thanks to you now things are running much more smoothly.
Keep up with your great work.

Hi, Assalam o alikum (May Peace Be Upon You), bumped into your sight researching about Leica M9, must say you take some great shots. You explain in your videos well too, great going. Could you post tutorials to some of your post processing work you’ve done with the Leica M9 shots. Some of the pics are in colour but has this sublime feel to it. How do you bring such amazing effects. I find your site quite informative. Keep up the good work 🙂
Excellent . i dont use photoshop though, but i am sure some of these gems are translatable to LR.
Sound advice as per usual!
Many thanks for useful lessons!
Dear Steve,
I got a copy of Lightroom 2. Can I correct distortions as shown in your video tutorial with LR2.
Thanks in Advance.
Steve, great job, nice site, you name it all.
Really appreciate for all your efforts to set up such a fantastic site. After going thru just about every single articles, I can now proudly announce myself as a M9 owner, and similar set up as yours, 35mm Summicron is my first lens.
Thanks,
CW
Hi Steve,
You are correct, the videos are fine and I have found the issue, I am in Turkey and Turkish government have a ban against youtube 🙂 go figure. Once, I changed my proxy to show my location outside the country videos popped out great. Now it is time to watch and learn 🙂
Hmmm. The interface is slicker but as for me, I do not really use any of the new features. You will get the same results with cs3 if you just do basic image editing.
Steve I just found your site and it is great.
A quick question that has been bugging me lately: is CS4 so much better than CS3? I am so used to CS3 that I have delayed the upgrade, and am wondering if the improvements justify paying for the new version. Or can I produce the same images with the old version with no big difference?
Thank you,
Marco

Hi there, just discovered your website, wandering around. Great job! It’s really cool, complete and friendly (+great reviews! can’t wait the one you’ll make on the 1D mark IV ;-).
I’ll be back!
Cheers!
Great site steve.
Is the image quality and low light performance of a nikon d3000 really superior than a bridge camera?
Thanks
Osman, all videos work fine on my end. I use youtube so if you can see youtube videos then these should work for you.
(Steve, so you know cannot view your videos was wondering if something wrong with the site?)
Steve, I wish I had found your site sooner! I’m truly enjoying your “real life” reviews. The post processing tips exposed me to an area in which I had little experience. Looking forward to many more posts!
Wishing you and your family a healthy and happy 2010.
REALLY helpful!! Thank you so much for posting those lessons. they are priceless!
I love the way you write and make everything so ‘real life’! Thanks for the free lessons, I always look forward to your next post!
Steve I just love your new site, well done, the best fore me is your no frills reviews simple for an old pensioner to get to grips with.
Wish you luck for the future ( including family)
Derek.
