Shot with the Noctilux and M9 comnbo at F1. Guessed focus, set self timer and I got the shot. I do one of these every year and have for the last 13-14 years. It is interesting to see how much you age over the span of a decade. The one I shot last year was with the M8 and 28 Elmarit and I thought I was looking old then. I think I aged two years in the last ONE. 🙂
Anyway, I had planned for some Oly E-P2 and Leica X1 1st impressions today but UPS never showed with my packages. I hate when that happens. Waiting..waiting..waiting. Only to find out at the end of the day that there is a delay due to circumstances beyond your control. Oh well! So without the package I got bored and this is the result.
This is an excellent concept !
I’ll start it by the end of the year (for my 40 years)
Thanks a lot for the idea.
Thanks. Adam, while the Noct vignettes, it doesn’t vignette that much. I added some during the B&W conversion. Thanks,
Steve
great self-portrait!
is that the vignetting right out of the camera, or did you enhance it?
Hi, “Rembrandt” (or “van Gogh”? No, you have still two ears!)
All the best!

P.S.: Read your “tests” since about 2 months with great interest, after I have started to hate the “real” tests to find around. Useless to say they are useless. What counts are pictures with a kind of character taken with enthusiasm, your pictures are showing this, or, for instance, the pictures from Torsten Overgaard from Denmark, whom I found through your site.
Ha ha…I do not know what I was thinking. My mind is in a different place today. 🙂
“It is interesting to see how much you age over the span of a century.” … yeah, a century is 100 years 😉
Great shot by the way!
Love reading your reviews even though an M9 is just a dream for me. Keep up the good work! 🙂
