There were 9 in stock a few days ago, now there are three left of this beautiful retro manual focus M mount lens. Use it on a Leica M mount camera such as the M10 or M240 or Monochrom. Use it on a Soy with an adapter like THIS cheap one or the best one HERE. Or use it on the SL with the Leica M adapter HERE. Hi Steve, how do you think this think would look on a Leica T – quite contrasting aesthetics? With the old Ts cheap it could be a relatively cost effective combo for such good image quality. Maybe even worth the T2. Silver or black?

Steve, until I read your review of this lens, it hadn’t occurred to me to use a non-Fuji lens on my XT2. While this Voigtlander is out of my budget at the moment, an M42 mount and Helios 44M-4 58mm 2.0 is not. Hopefully by the time the Lens arrives from Ukraine, I’ll remember where I put the mount!

I loved your review of this lens. The colours look amazing. What are your thought on this lens vs the Loxia 50/2 as a fun walk-around + portrait lens?

The Loxia 50 f/2 vs this one…well, both are very nice. The Loxia will be different and not have the same color pop. Will have more shlallow DOF as it is an f/2 but IQ wise goes to the Voigtlander. This lens is really like a “Leica 50 APO Lite”.
Just received my copy of this lens and after only a few photos out of my backyard, I realized that Steve was spot on on this little wonder. Wow, to say that it is very sharp would be a gross understatement. Beautiful contrast, sharpness, and colors. I’m still getting over it. It does take a little getting used to, as the aperture ring moves with the focusing ring, but I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it soon. It also looks wonderful on the M240. Can’t wait to go out over the Labor Day weekend with only this lens.
