Daily Inspiration #991
by Aivaras Sidla
Hi, Steve,
A little bit different twist from me today. Again. 🙂
Usually I shoot 35mm film, after dark, I take digital camera. But there are times, when I don’t have any camera in my hands, but thanks to incredible evolving tech I can use my phone camera. And I enjoy using it a lot.
This short story will have boring conclusion – the best camera is the one you have with you.
Enjoy!
A nice selection of images !
Thanks for sharing.
thanks for this.. it’s a great reminder to not get so wrapped up in the gear, but just use what you have to make and capture your creative vision.
Hi,
First of all – thank you for compliments, that helps a lot. 🙂
Anthony – good story about dog. 😉
Chris – photos are from 5th and 6th gen iphone. I do post process them a bit in phone – usually I do 3 things: increase exposition, increase black point and saturation.
I do have a website: http://www.beautifulgrain.com

My favourite is the dog and the blue door. What a funny looking dog I thought. Then I clicked on the image and in the enlarged image the creature miraculously curled himself in the OPPOSITE DIRECTION … and doggone it … if I didn’t just see it morph into a cat. LOL Thinks … I need a new pair of spectacles …
But boy oh boy! You have an eye and a creative imagination that is rare. Great stuff.
Do you have a photo website?
Thank you so much for sharing.
that’s a cat lol
These are great! I’m really impressed. It just goes to show you that it’s not the equipment, it’s the photographer. What phone did you use to take these?
U got the eye, and it doesn’t take much more than that.
I’m in awe.
Really creative shots! Thanks for sharing.
I can’t hardly see any difference between your cam or phone cam. The shots are very interesting.
