Hi Steve,
I wanted to submit a few of my favorites from a recent trip to India.
I came across your site while researching an upgrade to my Panasonic travel zoom. It had served me well for four years but I was looking for more flexibility and control over the images. I love travel photography but was loathe to give up the convenient size and weight of the travel zoom which is how I came across compact system cameras and your website. After patiently waiting a year for a camera that ticked all the right boxes for me, the NEX-6 arrived on my doorstep a convenient month before a 3.5 week trip to India.
These were taken with the Tamron 18-200 and the new 16-50 kit zoom and are OOC jpegs with some basic adjustments in Lightroom.
Keep up the great work,
Jason Roof

I like the shots in your complete collection. The color of sunlight inside the room stands out to me as a good use of color. I find the NEX6 to be easy to use as a travel camera, but not well suited to portrait work or for anything that moves too quickly. Although the focus on the kit lens is fast, it does not seem to be particularly accurate. I would be interested in hearing your impressions.
first is really nice and last one for me is the best out of 3.
haha, love the last pic. The dude has such a strong expression through his eyes. I get the feeling, if his eyes were lasers, they would be cutting right through your camera right now 😉
Do you happen to have more photos of this trip online? For instance, on Flickr….. I think I am not the only one here who would like to see more images from your trip to India!
Thanks, David. I wish I had remembered to include it in the mail to Steve but here you go. About 50 of the better ones https://picasaweb.google.com/102971741045878802432/India20122013?authuser=0&feat=directlink
Thanks for the link, Jason! Nice collection of images from your travel to India. I love the mix of landscape, architechture, and street. Nicely Done!!! For the ones that you sent Steve, I have to agree that #1 & #3 are my faves.
Great photo’s, the first one is a great capture, you can almost feel the pain yourself.
The last frame is excellent. I think it could use a little more post-processing attention (contrast and dodge/burn), but the image itself is great.
The first one is a great capture.
Thanks for the post, Steve. I forgot to include a link to the full set: https://picasaweb.google.com/102971741045878802432/India20122013
Great street shots! I like the first and the last one especially.
