It’s that time again! More inspiration! Todays image comes from Benny Wu and he shot it with his Panasonic LX3 🙂 Looks like he is having fun. Thanks Benny!
From Benny:
Hola!
Been following your site for awhile now and love your take on camera reviews. Lusting for a M9 and a set of lenses, but alas, I’m on a bit of journey at the moment. Currently 6 1/2 months in my 2 year round the trip. I’m in Buenos Aires, Argentina at the moment, resting up, before I fly over to Madrid and start my Euro adventures.
I’ve been lugging around a LX3 and a D90 with Sigma 10-20, Nikon 50mm 1.4G and Nikon 70-300mm.
I’ve attached one picture, taken at a little organic farm/hostel near Cotopaxi National Park in Ecuador. We had just come out from the woods after hiking up to a small waterfall. The snow capped mountain you see there, is Volcan Cotopaxi, one the highest active volcanos in the world at just under 5900m. I tried summiting it, but only made as high as 5400m.
Photos have been processed on my little 10″ netbook, not exactly the greatest thing for photo editing. Planning to pick up a 13″ MacBook Pro once I get to England.
My travel photos can be found on my facebook page.
This photo was taken with my LX3, it’s called “Heading Home”

Oh wow! It’s strange to see your own name posted on someone elses site. Thanks Steve! What you can’t see, is the 360 degree surrounding of mountains. One the absolute favorite places I’ve traveled to so far.
I’m not much of a writer, so I’m trying to use my photos to inspire people to travel, see the world and experience it.
Many thanks for your comments and photos. So glad you’re following your “dream.” Reminds me of my trip around the world when I was young. It was so magical! i wish I can do it again! Please take good care of yourself, and keep sending more photos.
A pixal paradise to the eyes!

Cool shot!
This reminds me of “The Sound Of Music” movie. LOL! Beautiful.
Wow! It hurts to see a shot like this as I am getting ready to go to work. Not a whole lot of scenes like this in Chicago 🙂 Very nicely done and have a great adventure!
