What a lovely portrait! Submitted by Per Nicolaisen and shot with his Leica M9 and 90 Elmarit (Great lens). Thanks for the submission Per! I love it!
“Mr. Asser Singertat on a snowy East Greenlandic day.
This image was taken yesterday with my M9 and 90mm elmarit (bought used, last version that was discontinued in 2008). I received the elmarit just half an hour before this images was taken. This was the 5th shot with the lens. Shot wide @ F/2.8. I used Nik software, Silver Efex pro to convert to BW.

Wow! Who in the midst of all the snow needs sun when you have the shining warm joy of faces like his. Nice capture.
Thanks Torben, Timothy and Achim.
Great shot! I`m still waiting for Steve´s review of this awesome lens.
Hi Per Nicolaisen, WoW what an Amazing shot. What great detail and the snow looks so good.
I love it.
I hope to get a Leica someday – Oh and a Leica lens…
Nice portrait – good effect with the snow
Reminds of the people when I was living in northern Greenland

I spottet Mr. Singertat out the window, testing the lens. He lives near my work. I asked if I could take his picture and here is the result.
I’m half wishing the wording on the beanie said ‘snow’ 🙂
