Happy Monday to all! Today’s pic comes from Cyrille Rabiller and was shot on Tri-x. Lovely tones. Here is what Cyrille had to say about this image:
Here a picture I took during the horse race called “Grand Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe” 2009, October the fifth J . It was a very nice day, and very crowdy too 😀
I used a bessa R , CV 35 2,5 and Kodak trix in D76.

Thanks Cyrille!
This is the kind of photo that I aspire to make.
Best,
Roberto
Extraordinary, Cyrill.
Although it’s a snapshot, it’s incredibly well composed.
I’ll have a look at your other pictures, now.
Martin.
Great image Cyrille !
I had already seen it on summilux.fr ! Bravo.
Steve has chosen one of my photo the 26/02 and it is also taken with a small voigtlander lens (the 25 f:4 LTM for mine). Great small lenses !

Oops! I meant big fan! Sorry Cyrille.
Also, everyone should take a look at the other beautiful photos on Cyrille’s webpage or flickr page. I am a ban fan of the shot in the train or Metro station. Great composition and wonderful shadows.
Outstanding B&W photo! I feel the tension, excitement, apprehension and some with pre-disappointment on their faces. This photo leaves me hungry for more.
Oh…and film rules! 🙂
Great job there Cyrille! Love the classic look and you have a great eye for street shooting and catching those moments. Keep up the good work!
thanks a lot for these comments 🙂
Outstanding candid – I love the way the film captured the moment with such a classic and wonderful look. Excellent capture thanks for sharing!
Image has an old-school pj feel. Cartier-Bresson would be proud!
Great shot! One can almost feel the excitement of the spectators …
There’s a lovely quality about this photo, It’s almost like those heads are trying hard (wanting) to stay inside your camera frame! 🙂
What a beauty!
